Sophomore Jenna DiSabatino (Mountain Top, Crestwood) scored her ninth goal of the season off of a senior Ashley Miller (Shermans Dale, West Perry) assist at the 9:32 mark in the first half to give BU the 1-0 lead. Riley gave the Huskies a 2-0 advantage early in the second half when she scored her 19th goal of the season off of the feed from J. DiSabatino at 39:24 in the second half.

East Stroudsburg cut the lead in half at 2-1 when senior Caitlin Brownley scored off the corner feed for her eighth goal of the season at the 58:28 mark in the second half. Sophomore goalkeeper Meghan Hollenbach (Blandon, Fleetwood) for Bloomsburg stopped four shots in the final 9:54 of the second half to preserve the program's 17th conference crown and first under head coach Nikki Rhoads.

On the season, Riley leads the team offensively with 19 goals and 15 assists for 53 points. Seven of her goals have been game-winning. Sophomore Lauren McGinley (Wilkes-Barre, Coughlin) is second with 11 goals and two assists for 24 points. J. DiSabatino is the third player with double digits in goals, as she has 10 goals and three assists for 23 points. Overall the Huskies have a balanced scoring attack with 15 players having scored at least one goal with eight or more of those having five or more goals.

In the cage, Hollenbach has played well, posting a 1.07 goals against average for the season with four shutouts and 55 saves. Her record is 18-2.

East Stroudsburg, under head coach Sandy Miller, is led offensively by Jessica Frantz, who has 31 goals and six assists for 68 points. She leads the PSAC in both points per game and in goals per contest. Eleven of her goals have been game-winning for ESU.
