Indoor Track Competes at Lehigh Meet

COMPLETE RESULTS

BETHLEHEM--The Bloomsburg University women's indoor track team competed in their final event before the semester break when the Huskies took part in the Lehigh Fast Times meet in Bethlehem.

In the 60-meter dash Kaila Hassler (Schnecksville, Parkland) finished sixth in 8.36 seconds, while Meagan McGreehan (Landisville, Hempfield ) was 10th in 8.51 seconds. In the 200 meter dash McGeehan was ninth in 27.75 seconds with Hassler 11th in 28.14 seconds.

In the 800-meter competition Jessica Segeleon (Bridgeville, South Fayette) took fifth in a time of 2:27.29, improving on her PSAC-qualifying time from last week. In the 60-meter hurdles Michelle Christmann (Oradell, NJ, River Dell) was seventh in 10.71 seconds.

In the pole vault Ashley Mancil (Bloomsburg, Bloomsburg) won the competition with a mark of 3.15 meters (10' 00").

Alilia Anderson (Glenside, Cheltenham) long jumped 4.91m (16' 1.75"), which qualified her for the PSAC Championships and Emily Backel (Dillsburg, Northern York County) had a big personal best with a throw of 11.62m (38' 1.5") in the women's 20lb weight throw.

The Huskies will be idle till their winter training trip Jan. 8-15.
