BLOOMSBURG –Bloomsburg University men's tennis took down Millersville by a score of 7-2 on Saturday.
Millersville came out strong in doubles, but the Huskies fought back, winning the final two matches. One of those victories came from Ricky Dove (Port Matilda, State College Area) and Brandon Cummings (Tallahassee, FL, Chiles) winning at first doubles by a score of 8-3.
The men then put the match away, winning five out of six singles matchups. One of those victories came from Alan Hummel (Manhiem, Hempfield) who won in three sets. After losing the first set 7-5, Hummel fought back to win the second set 6-2. In the third set tie breaker he fought off three match points to win 14-12.
Bloomsburg takes to the courts again tomorrow, traveling to University Park to take on Penn State.
