The Mountaineers won the first four bouts to lead 13-0 before Bloomsburg's Frank Hickman (Castle Hayne, NC, E.L. Laney), ranked 22nd, posted an 8-3 win at 157 pounds. The Huskies did close to within 16-9 after 22nd ranked Nate Graham (Selkirk, NY, Ravena) won at 184 pounds, but that would be as close as the Huskies would get.
