Men's Swim Team Performs at IUP Dual Invite

INDIANA, PA – The Bloomsburg University men's swimming team dropped three matches at Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Friday night, as IUP hosted the Huskies, Shippensburg, and Gannon.
 
After the final session, Bloomsburg lost to Shippensburg by a score of 190.5-155.5 and to IUP, 251-126.

The Huskies also fell to Gannon by a score of 204-127.

placed first in the 100-butterfly with a time of 52.18, which is a PSAC-qualifying performance.
 
In the 400-IM Erik Stefferud (West Chester, Henderson) took third place with a PSAC-qualifying time of 4:29.31. Derek Straub (Sinking Spring, Wilson) also had a PSAC-qualifying performance, after taking third place in the 100-back in 55.10.

Thomas Malloy (Lancaster, Lancaster Catholic) finished second in the 200 Butterfly, touching the wall in a PSAC-qualifying time of 2:01.70.

With the team's regular season completed, Bloomsburg will next travel to Chambersburg from February 16 to 19, for the PSAC Championships beginning Wednesday at 6 pm.
