COMPLETE RESULTS
ITHACA, NY--The Bloomsburg University women's track and field team competed on Saturday at the Kane Invitational at Cornell University.
Leading the way for the Huskies was
Kaila Hassler (Schnecksville/Parkland) and
Meagan McGeehan (Landisville/Hempfield ) who finished third and fourth respectively in the 400 meter dash. Hassler turned in a time of 1:02.44, while McGeehan was close behind in 1:02.86.
Hassler had a busy day for Bloomsburg taking 10th in the 200 meter dash in 27.71 seconds and was 16th in 60 meter dash in 8.39 seconds. Brittani Sahm was 17th in the 60 meters in 8.40 seconds.
In the mile run
Katie Meck (Dillsburg/Northern) was sixth in 5:22.38, while Katie McShay was ninth in 5:28.48 with
Lauren Bond (Hatfield/North Penn) 12th in 5:37.64.
At 800 meters
Martina Drew (Langhorne/Neshaminy ) was 16th in 2:27.82,while at 1000 meters Victoria Davis was ninth in 3:15.22, while
Bridget Krecko (Philadelphia/Bishop McDevitt) was 18th in 3:27.69.
In the 3000 meter event the Huskies had three runners in the top 14 led by
Angela Borealo (Easton/Easton) in 10th in 10:31.71, while
Katie Filemyr (Willow Grove/Bishop McDevitt) was13th in 10:58.43 with
Samantha Matthews (Windsor/Glenelg) 14th in 11:02.08.
In the pole vault
Kelsey Davis (Bloomsburg/Central Columbia) was 10th in3.15 meters or 10'4".
In relay action the Huskies were third in the 4 x 800 with the team of
Lauren Bond (Hatfield/North Penn), McShay, Meck and
Kelsey Harm (Boothwyn/Cardinal O'Hara) finishing in 10:18.06, while in the 4 x 400
Jessica Segeleon (Bridgeville/South Fayette), Valeri Homer, Drew and Victoria Davis ran a 4:24.28.
