HILTON HEAD, SC--The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team beat Tusculum University by a score of 6-3 on Wednesday as part of its annual spring break trip to Hilton Head, SC.

The Huskies won two of the three doubles matches to go on top 2-1. Jeff Nuhfer (Warren/Warren Area) and Jack McClurkin (Collegeville/Spring-Ford) scored an 8-3 win at number two.

In singles play, Bloomsburg won four of the six singles matches to post the win. Among the wins were three-set wins for Ricky Dove (Port Matilda/State College Area) at number one, 4-6, 7-5, 10-8, while at number six, Tyler Pultro (New Britain/Central Bucks West) scored a 6-4, 2-6, 10-4 victory. Winning in straight sets were Mark Schroeder (Basking Ridge, NJ/Ridge) and McClurkin.

The Huskies are now 3-1 and will host Wilkes on March 22.
