BLOOMSBURG--The Bloomsburg University men's tennis won its sixth straight match of the season with a 6-3 win over Mercyhurst on Sunday morning.

The Huskies won two of three doubles matches with Jeff Nuhfer (Warren/Warren Area) and Alan Hummel (Manhiem/Hempfield) winning 8-1 at number three to lead the way.

In singles action the Huskies won four of the six matches to earn the win. Mark Schroeder (Basking Ridge, NJ/Ridge) had to go three sets, including a tie-breaker in the second set, to score a win. Schroeder won 3-6,7-6 (7-1),6-4. Jack McClurkin (Collegeville/Spring-Ford) scored a 6-0, 6-1 win at number five, while the match was clinched when Nuhfer scored a three-set win 3-6, 6-2, 6-1.

Bloomsburg, now 9-2, 4-0 in the PSAC, will face Kutztown on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
