Bloomsburg Women's Track and Field Competes at Lafayette

COMPLETE RESULTS

EASTON—The Bloomsburg University women's track and field team had six PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) qualifying marks at the Lafayette Seven-Way Meet on Saturday.

In the 100-meter dash, Val Homer qualified for PSACs with a mark of 13.09 seconds, while in the 100 hurdles Vanessa Rimbey (Lehighton/Lehighton Area) had a time of 16.25 to qualify for PSACs. At 800-meters Katilyn Meck was 10th in a PSAC-qualifying time of 2:23.19.

In the 1500, Kaitlyn McShay (Springfield/Cardinal O'Hara) qualified with a time of 5:02.34. At 3000-meters, Katie Filemyr (Willow Grove/Bishop McDevitt) was fifth in10:33.85,while in the discus Emily Backel (Dillsburg/Northern York County) was sixth with a PSAC-qualifying mark of 37.58 meters/123'3”.

Bloomsburg will take part in the Millersville Spring Opener on Saturday.
