RESULTS
EDINBORO—The Bloomsburg University men's swim team swam to a 142-119 win over Edinboro University on Saturday with seven new PSAC qualifying marks being posted.
The Huskies won the meet, which came down to the final event, the 200-free relay, by 0.22 seconds. It was night after the Huskies lost by the narrowest of margins in a meet with Gannon.
In the 200-free relay the team of
Nick Angeny (Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan),
Bill Urban (Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan),
Bryan Masilotti (Vineland, N.J./Vineland) and
Jake Harner (Philadelphia/Father Judge) posted a time of 1:28.08 edging out Edinboro's time of 1:28.30.
For the Huskies
Jake Harner (Philadelphia/Father Judge) posted two new PSAC qualifying times with marks in the 200-free in 1:49.21 and the 100-fly in 54.81 seconds. Harner took first in the 200-free, 100-free and was second in the 100-fly in the meet.
Also,
Jeremy Frey (Pipersville/Central Bucks East) posted two new PSAC marks in the 200-IM in 2:04.16 and the 200-back in 2:02.74.
In addition,
Cole Underwood (Collegeville/Perkiomen Valley) posted a PSAC qualifying in the 1000-free in 10:26.93.
Bill Urban (Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan) also posted two new PSAC cuts in the 100-back in 55.07 seconds and the 100-free in 49.77.
Brandon Sherbo (Etters/Red Land) had two first place finishes on the day winning both the 1000- and 500-free events.
Overall, the Huskies posted 19 PSAC qualifying times.
