COMPLETE RESULTS
LEWISBURG—Four new PSAC qualifying times and a school-record highlighted the day's action for the Bloomsburg University women's track and field team at the Bucknell Team Challenge at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
Earning spots in next month's PSAC championships were
Michelle Merian (Mountain Lakes /Mountain Lakes) in the 400 hurdles in 67.80 seconds, while in the 800
Ashley Bauer (Temple/Muhlenberg) and Jess Segeleon both qualified. Bauer had a time of 2:21.52, while Segeleon had a mark of 2:24.05. The fourth PSAC qualifier was
Caitlin Heller (Bloomsburg/Indian Valley) at 3000 meters in 10:46.52.
Setting a school record in the javelin was
Nechole Hill-Perry (Harrisburg/SciTech) with a throw of 38.60 meters (126'8”), while in the pole vault
Kelsey Davis (Bloomsburg/Central Columbia) tied her school record with a mark of 3.40 meters (11” 1 ¾”).
Turning in season-bests and PR's were
Katie Filemyr (Willow Grove/Bishop McDevitt) and
Lauren Lehman (Mt. Holly Springs/Boiling Springs) in the 1500. Fiemyr had a time of 4:41.72, while Lehman posted a time of 4:48.88. At 800 meters
Kate Dodds (Ambler/Upper Dublin) had a PR with a time of 2:256.78.
The Huskies will compete at the Maroon and Gold Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 27-28.
