MEET RESULTS
BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University women's track and field team qualified one more athlete for next week's PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) Championships on Friday during the Maroon and Gold Invitational.
Before the meet the Huskies honored the three senior members of its team
Samantha Matthews (Windsor/Glenelg);
Caitlin Heller (Bloomsburg/Indian Valley) and
Kaitlyn McShay (Springfield/Cardinal O'Hara).
In the 100-hurdles,
Haley Kramer (Eagleville/Methacton) posted a time of 15.88 seconds to earn a spot in next week's PSAC Championships.
In the long jump
Vanessa Rimbey (Lehighton/Lehighton Area) took first with a jump of 5.33 meters (17'6”) improving her PSAC-qualifying mark.
Alexis Rankin (Hatboro/Hatboro-Horsham) also had a first and second place finish for the Huskies. Rankin took first in the 400-meter dash in 1:00.07 and was second in 200-meter dash in 26.66 seconds.
Bloomsburg will host the PSAC Championships May 3-5 at Redman Stadium.
