COMPLETE RESULTS
MILLERSVILLE—The Bloomsburg University women's track and field team posted 14 PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) qualifying marks and set one school record at the Millersville Metrics on Saturday.
In the javelin
Nechole Hill-Perry (Harrisburg/SciTech) broke her own school record (set last week) and posted a PSAC qualifying mark of 38.86 meters/127'6” in taking third place. In the shot put
Tayler Harkins (Lansdale/North Penn) was fifth with a PSAC-qualifying mark of 37'5”, while
Kelsey Davis (Bloomsburg/Central Columbia) was also fifth in the pole vault with a PSAC mark of 3.19 meters/10' 5 ½”.
In the 1500 meter run the Huskies had three PSAC-qualifying marks.
Lauren Lehman (Mt. Holly Springs/Boiling Springs) was fifth in 4:51.87;
Kelsey Harm (Boothwyn/Cardinal O'Hara) eighth in 4:54.51 and
Lauren Bond (Hatfield/North Penn) 14
th in 4:57.76. In the 3000 meter race the Huskies also had three PSAC qualifying marks.
Katie Filemyr (Willow Grove/Bishop McDevitt) was fifth in 10:16.48; Samantha Matthew ninth in 10:35.31 and
Kaitlyn McShay (Springfield/Cardinal O'Hara) 10
th in 10:35.33.
In the 400 meter dash Bloomsburg had two PSAC-qualifying marks.
Alexis Rankin (Hatboro/Hatboro-Horsham) was fourth in 58.58, while
Rebecca Canderan (Ocean View, NJ/Ocean City) was 12
th in 1:00.65. At 800 meters Lehman was 10
th in a PSAC-qualifying time of 2:23.76.
At 100 meters
Valerie Homer (East Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg South) was 10
th in a conference championship qualifying time of 13.01, while at 200-meters Rankin was 12
th in 26.22 to qualify for the PSAC championships.
The Huskies are back in action on Friday and Saturday for the Husky Open.
