STORYLINE
The Huskies go on the road Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. in a conference matchup with rival Kutztown. Bloomsburg will look to improve its 2-4 road record while moving up in the conference standings after a strong non-conference victory over visiting Davis & Elkins last Thursday.

LAST TIME OUT
(Box Score) The Huskies defeated Davis and Elkins 3-0 on Thursday, Sept. 26 at Sports Stadium. Jenna Fisher (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) recorded a hat trick, scoring a goal in the 50th, 77th and 87th minute for the Huskies. Tara Huber (Orefield/Parkland), Jamie Vaniver (Holland/Council Rock South) and Ashley Sanchez (Lyndhurst/DePaul Catholic) each recorded an assist for Bloomsburg. Danielle Fiorelli (Warrington/Villa Joseph Marie) registered three saves in goal for Bloomsburg.

SCOUTING KUTZTOWN
The Golden Bears are 5-3 on the season entering Wednesday's match against Bloomsburg. They have been idle since defeating Indiana (Pa) 3-0 Saturday, Sept. 28. Kutztown's offensive attack has been strong this season, scoring 13 goals in eight games. The Golden Bears are coming off of a season in which they went 11-6-2 overall, and 9-3-2 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play. They return 18 players from last year and were picked to finish fifth the preseason coaches' poll for the PSAC..

Kutztown leads the series 15-14-2.

LAST MEETING
(Box Score) Kutztown came away with a 2-0 victory when the two schools met in Bloomsburg last year on Sept. 19. Sam Costello and BrieAnn Shipkowski each scored a goal, with Taylor Burt recording an assist. Goalie Casey Behrendt recorded two saves for the Golden Bears.

QUITE THE DEBUT
In her freshman season with the Huskies, forward Jenna Fisher (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) leads the PSAC in goals scored with seven and points with 15. Those totals also have her tied for ninth in the nation in goals while she is tied for third among all freshmen in the country in goals scored this year.

STATS TO KNOW
Huskies senior Tara Huber (Orefield/Parkland) is tied for seventh in points in the PSAC with nine. For Kutztown, Sam Costello is also tied for seventh in the PSAC in points with nine. Kutztown's Alaina Curry tied for seventh in the PSAC in goals scored with three.

The Huskies will return home to continue PSAC competition on Saturday, Oct. 5 against Mansfield at 3:30 p.m.
