STORYLINE
The Huskies will celebrate Homecoming Weekend with a pair of key PSAC contests this weekend at Sports Stadium. First, #24 Slippery Rock visits Friday at 3 p.m. before Bloomsburg welcomes #13 California (PA) on Saturday at 5 p.m. Bloomsburg looks to keep its strong play at home alive, entering the contest with a 3-1 record at Sports Stadium including a victory in its last time out vs. Mansfield.

SCOUTING SLIPPERY ROCK
Nationally-ranked Slippery Rock will enter this contest with an overall record of 6-2-1 and a PSAC record of 5-2-1 and stands No. 24 in the latest Division II national rankings released Oct. 8. The Rock is currently ranked third in the PSAC for team goals with a total of 19. Leading The Rock in goals is Andrea Felix with seven goals, three of which she scored in SRU's last game against Mercyhurst, a 6-0 win. Goalkeeper Dana O'Neill has a 0.74 GAA this year including two shutouts. The Rock captured the PSAC championship last season, also earning its second straight trip to the NCAA Sweet 16, and is led by reigning PSAC and Atlantic Region Coach of the Year Noreen Herlihy.

Perennial PSAC power California has returned to the top of the conference this season, winning seven straight matches entering Friday. The Vulcans' only conference loss came at Slippery Rock in its season-opener on Sept. 5. Ranked No. 13 in the latest NSCAA Top 25, Cal has outscored its opposition 27-1 during its current seven-match winning streak including six straight shutouts and have kept its opponents scoreless over a span of over 575 minutes. Junior midfielder Hailey Henderson paces the offense with five goals while sophomore forward Janelle McCann and junior midfielder Chelsea Crockett each have four. Junior goalkeeper Ashley Magruda has seen the lion's share of time in net, starting seven matches while posting a 0.40 GAA with 15 saves.

FRESHMAN STEPPING UP
Freshman
Jenna Fisher (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) continues to lead the PSAC in goals this season after notching her eighth score of the year in the victory over Mansfield last Saturday. Her 17 points also are the second-most of any player in the conference so far in 2013. Her hat trick against Davis & Elkins last month also puts her in a tie for the most goals scored by any player in the nation in a single game this season – she's one of 56 Division II players to accomplish the feat this year.
OFFENSE ADDING UP
Bloomsburg is currently ranked tied fourth in the PSAC for goals so far this season with 19 goals along with Slippery Rock which has also tallied 19 scores.
