Bloomsburg—The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team lost to Mercyhurst 8-1 on Friday.
 
The Huskies trailed 2-1 after doubles with the number one team Mike DiSanto (Center Valley/Southern Lehigh) and Brayden Shipman (Mill Hall/Central Mountain) won 8-5.  Number two Devin Bolton (Harrisburg/Bishop McDevitt) and Kyle Christy (Dalton/Tunkhannock) lost 8-6, while number three Jeff Dailey (Easton/Easton) and Doug Sensi (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence) lost 8-5.
 
In singles at number five, Sensi lost the first set 7-6, 6-1, while Bolton lost at number four 6-4, 6-4.
 
Bloomsburg hosts Edinboro Saturday at noon.
