WEST CHESTER—The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team lost to West Chester, 2-1, on Saturday in a PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) matchup.
 
The Huskies jumped out to the early lead in the 21st minute when Jenna Fisher (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) scored off a Jessy Shober (Marietta/Donegal) assist on a free kick. The shot was one of just three for Bloomsburg in the opening half, while the Huskies limited the Golden Rams to just four shots on goal.
 
The game stayed 1-0 until the 51st minute when Dana Hunt scored off a Carly Yost assist. West Chester got what would prove to be the game winner at the 70:40 mark when Sarah Wulk scored unassisted.
 
Down the stretch the Huskies did manage two shots on goal, but one was blocked and one saved by the West Chester goalkeeper.
 
Bloomsburg falls to 3-4, 2-2 in the PSAC, while West Chester goes to 3-3, 3-3 in the PSAC. The Huskies play at Edinboro on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
