Caruso also took second in the long jump with a jump of 5.03 meters (16' 6"). Angela Shadwick also qualified for the PSAC championships in the 60-meter hurdles finishing second in 9.90 seconds.

Also taking second in the 400-meter dash was Zoe Bongiovanni (Phoenixville/Methacton) in a time of 1:03.52, while Alexis Rankin (Hatboro/Hatboro-Horsham) was second in the 500-meter dash in 1:19.46.

"It was a great day and I'm excited that our teams showed up to battle a DI school and not back down," said head coach Bernie Empie. "The women showed balance across the events and were able to score points in nearly every event.  It was exactly what I was hoping to see in the first meet back."

The Huskies will be back in action on Jan. 25 at the Gulden Invitational at Bucknell University.
