Game Preview: Women's Soccer Travels to Mansfield in PSAC Matchup

STORYLINE
The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team looks to win their fifth straight game against Mansfield when it travels to face the Mountaineers in a PSAC matchup on Saturday at 7 p.m.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies lost 2-1 in double overtime against Edinboro on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at Steph Pettit Stadium. Liz Debo scored in the 31st minute to give the Fighting Scots a 1-0 lead. Bloomsburg would tie it up midway through the second half, with Megan Carroll (Middletown/Middletown Area) finishing a ball after a scrum in the box during the 70th minute. The two teams would go the next 31 minutes without a goal, until Debo scored again to win the game for Edinboro. Bloomsburg finished the game with six shots on goal, while Megan Deak (West Islip, NY/West Islip) recorded eight saves.
 
LAST MEETING
Bloomsburg defeated Mansfield by a score of 3-1 last season. Jenna Fisher (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) and Allie Camp (Beavertown/Midd-West) scored in the 17th and 25th minutes respectively to help the Huskies build an early 2-0 lead. Jessica Allen would cut the lead in half with a goal in the 30th minute, but Mansfield would fail to put another shot past Danielle Fiorelli (Warrington/Villa Joseph Marie), who made five saves in the contest. Tara Huber (Orefield/Parkland) would add an insurance goal in the 57th minute to put the game out of reach. It would the fifth win of the season for the Huskies.
 
SCOUTING MANSFIELD
The Mountaineers are coming off of a 2-2 tie against Lock Haven that broke a three game losing streak for Mansfield. Brielle Filtch leads the Mountaineers with two goals on the season, while six other players are tied with one goal apiece. Kelsey Chapman leads Mansfield with five points and three assists. In goal, Alana Greenawalt has started 10 of the 11 contests, making 57 saves in those games.
