Tennis Hosts Millersville in Conference Play on Thursday

STORYLINE
The Huskies continue their spring conference schedule by hosting on Thursday in both men's and women's competition. Bloomsburg lost last year's matchup to Millersville 7-2. For the women, they defeated the Golden Rams by a score of 6-3. Last year, the women lost 5-4 to Millersville.

LAST TIME OUT
MEN - (Recap) The Huskies lost, 5-4, to West Chester on Tuesday. Denis Ikejiri (Santana de Parnaiba/Makenzie Tambori)/Will Humphrey (Hemel Hempstead, UK/Parmiters) posted a 9-7 doubles victory over Connor Dunn/Andrew Paterson. Ikejiri also scored a 6-4, 6-2 singles victory over Dunn out of the two spot. Out of the three spot, Humphrey defeated Chaz Irwin by a score of 6-4, 6-3 in a singles matchup. Kyle Christy (Dalton/Tunkhannock) notched the last singles victory for the Huskies out of the five spot, defeating Andrew Paterson 2-6, 7-6 (4), 6-3.

WOMEN - (Recap) The Huskies defeated West Chester by a score of 6-3. Aida Diop (Allentown/Emmaus) and Natalie Greenholt (Hanover/South Western) defeated Abe Nolan Haley Wissinger 8-5 in a doubles matchup. Also scoring a doubles win for Bloomsburg were Erin Reitenauer (Whitehall/Whitehall) and Nicole Slagle (Irwin/Penn Trafford), who defeated Cassidy Branigan Stephanie Cifarelli 8-4. Lindsey Tennis (Quakertown/Quakertown) posted a 6-1, 6-2 singles victory over Nicole Nardi.

SCOUTING MILLERSVILLE                                                                                                     
The Marauders men's tennis team are led by Joey Sambrick Jr, who is 6-3 in singles matches on the year, and 2-3 in doubles matches. The women are led by Kaylora Thompson, who is 1-3 in singles matches, and 3-2 in doubles matches.

The Bloomsburg men lead the all-time series vs. Millersville 45-20.

The Bloomsburg women lead the all-time series vs. Millersville 39-5.

NEXT TIME OUT
