STORYLINE
Bloomsburg looks for its first win of the season when it plays at Chestnut Hill College on Tuesday, Sept. 16. at 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies fell to New York Institute of Technology 3-0 on Saturday, Sept. 13 in a non-conference matchup. The Huskies trailed just 1-0 at the break after Alberto Ruiz scored in the 11th minute on a shot to the nearside of the net. The Bears extended their advantage to 2-0 with a goal on a penalty kick in the 47th minute, then made it 3-0 with a 56th minute goal.

LAST MEETING
Last season the Huskies defeated the Griffins 2-0. Bloomsburg got on the board early on with a goal from freshman Derrick Orendorff during the ninth minute. Fran Miller set up the score by pushing the ball deep into Chestnut Hill territory allowing Anthony Manero to direct a crossfield pass to Orendorff who did the rest. In the 23rd minute, Miller tallied his second goal of the season when his initial shot was saved by Griffin keeper Travis Powers, but the senior forward grabbed his own rebound and was able to finish for the goal. Bernie Roell (Douglassville/Daniel Boone) turned away eight shots in goal to preserve the shutout, moving into second place by himself in the Huskies' record books with 12 shutouts during his BU career

SCOUTING CHESTNUT HILL
While Chestnut Hill lost many key players, they still return some strong players. Sophomore Matthew McLeod appeared in all 19 games last season, making 14 starts and recording two assists. Senior Georges Beyiha returns to a starting role after missing almost all of last year due to injury but as a sophomore he started 11 games as central midfielder. Junior Matthew Casaletto made a big impression after transferring from Arcadia University and received a starting midfield spot. The Griffins are 1-2 for the season so far, defeating Post University, but lsoing to Shippensburg and Seton Hill.
