HILTON HEAD, SC—The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team lost to Ithaca College on Monday by a score of 6-3.
 
The Huskies jumped out to 2-1 lead after doubles winning at number one and three. At number one the team of Mike DiSanto (Center Valley/Southern Lehigh) and Jean Paul Jones (Guayaquil, Guayan (Ecuador)/Cruzdel Sur) won 8-6, while at number three Denis Ikejiri (Santana de Parnaiba/Makenzie Tambori) and Nenyi Micah (Allentown/William Allen) posted an 8-2 victory.
 
Bloomsburg extended its lead to 3-1 after Gilberto Machado (Puerto de la Cruz, Cananary Islands/International British Yeoward School) scored a win at number two. However, the Bombers closed out the match winning the final five matches to get the win.
 
Bloomsburg is 1-2 on the year.
