BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team won its second straight match at the BU Duals on Sunday downing Shepherd University, 5-1, at the Burt Reese Tennis Center.
 
The Huskies swept through doubles play with Mike DiSanto (Center Valley/Southern Lehigh) and Jean Paul Jones (Guayaquil, Guayan (Ecuador)/Cruzdel Sur) winning 8-1 at number one, while Gilberto Machado (Puerto de la Cruz, Cananary Islands/International British Yeoward School) and Scott Langenbach (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) won at number two, 8-3. Bloomsburg closed out doubles winning at number three, 8-4, with Nenyi Micah (Allentown/William Allen) and Christian Coffee.
 
In singles the Huskies got wins from Denis Ikejiri (Santana de Parnaiba/Makenzie Tambori), Mortada Stitou (Tangier, Morocco/American School of Tangier) and Jones with Jones closing out the win by posting a 6-2, 6-1 win.
 
Bloomsburg is 4-7 and will play at Bucknell on Tuesday.
