BLOOMSBURG--The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team lost 9-0 to visiting Bucknell Tuesday night at the Burt Reese Tennis Center.
 
The Bison, members of the Patriot League, swept doubles play to lead 3-0. In doubles action Bloomsburg's No. 2 team of Gilberto Machado (Puerto de la Cruz, Cananary Islands/International British Yeoward School) and Scott Langenbach (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) put up a hard fight but ultimately dropped their match by a score of 8-4. The tandems of Mike DiSanto (Center Valley/Southern Lehigh) and Jean Paul Jones (Guayaquil, Guayan (Ecuador)/Cruzdel Sur) at No. 1 and Nenyi Micah (Allentown/William Allen) and Denis Ikeriji at No. 3 both lost by scores of 8-2.
 
In singles play the Huskies Scott Langenbach (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) at No. 4 battled hard but was defeated in straight sets 6-2, 6-3.
 
Bloomsburg, now 4-8, will look to bounce back against PSAC foe Edinboro on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. With the win Bucknell is now 13-8.
