Game Preview: Huskies To Host Lock Haven on Tuesday

STORYLINE
Bloomsburg looks to halt a two-game losing streak as it hosts Lock Haven in a PSAC matchup.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Bloomsburg lost 2-1 in overtime at Mercyhurst on Saturday. After a scoreless first half, Lauren Testa put the Lakers on the board in the 57th minute. Megan Carroll (Middletown/Middletown Area) tied the game up less than eight minutes later with a shot from the middle of the box. In overtime Kristina Roberti scored in the 99th minute to give Mercyhurst the win. Devon Haviland (Warminster/Archbishop Wood) made six saves in goal for Bloomsburg.
 
LAST MEETING
Bloomsburg and Lock Haven played to a 0-0 tie on the final game of the regular season in 2014. The Huskies put five shots on goal in the contest, including two from Ashley Sanchez (Lyndhurst/DePaul Catholic), but were not able to put one in the back of the net. Shelby Koch (Mechanicsburg/Mechanicsburg) made five saves in goal for Bloomsburg.
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies currently sit at 1-3 on the year, and are coming off a 2-1 loss to Mercyhurst on Saturday. Ashley Sanchez (Lyndhurst/DePaul Catholic) leads the team in goals for the season with two, while Jenna Fisher (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) has a goal and an assist for Bloomsburg. In goal, Devon Haviland (Warminster/Archbishop Wood) has started all three games, and has made 17 saves for the Huskies. Bloomsburg is looking for its first win against Lock Haven since 2013.
              
SCOUTING LOCK HAVEN
The Lady Eagles come into today's matchup with a record of 1-2 and are coming off of a 5-0 loss to Kutztown on Wednesday. Jordan Shoff leads the team with two goals and four points on the year, while Danielle Mauro and Carly Spinuzza each have an assist. Morgan Euston has played every minute in goal for Lock Haven and has made 12 saves in three games.
