EDINBORO—The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team fell to Edinboro University on Sunday by a score of 7-2.

The Fighting Scots swept doubles play to lead 3-0. At number one, the Huskies team of
Pablo Herrero (Puerto de la Cruz, Spain/British School Tenerife) and
Dhir Gala (Mumbai, India/Mithibaii) lost a heartbreaker, 9-8 (2).

The Huskies won two of the six singles matches with both matches going three sets. Bloomsburg also sent another match to three sets before falling.

Gala, playing three singles, won a three-set marathon, 2-6, 7-6 (4), 12-10. At number six
Leonardo Nakasone (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Enig) also won in three sets, 2-6, 7-6 (5), 6-3. At number two singles
Gerard Puig (Sabadell, Spain/Juame Viladoms) dropped a three-set thriller, 6-2, 5-7, 10-8.

Bloomsburg falls to 2-6, 0-2 in the PSAC, while Edinboro is 12-6, 2-0 in the PSAC. The Huskies host Millersville on Saturday at 1 p.m.
