BOX SCOREBLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team dropped a back and forth decision to Chestnut Hill College on Sunday by a score of 6-3 at the Burt Reese Tennis Center.

The Huskies fell behind 2-1 after doubles, a result that could have gone the other way. Bloomsburg picked up a win at number two doubles with the team of
Gerard Puig (Sabadell, Spain/Juame Viladoms) and Nenyi Michah, 8-5. At number one doubles
Pablo Herrero (Puerto de la Cruz, Spain/British School Tenerife) and
Dhir Gala (Mumbai, India/Mithibaii) lost 8-6 with the deciding match going to the Griffins, 9-8, over the team of
Steve Williams (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) and
Scott Langenbach (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford).

In singles play the Huskies picked up a win at number three from Puig who won in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, while at number six
Pedro Andari (Mogi dos Cruzes, Spain/Santa Monica) pulled out a three-set thriller, 6-1, 2-6, 6-4.

The match though eventually came down to three matches that all went three sets with the Griffins winning all three to get the win, 6-3. At number two Gala fell, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3, while at number four
Gilberto Machado (Puerto de la Cruz, Cananary Islands/International British Yeoward School) lost 4-6, 6-2, 6-0 with
Leonardo Nakasone (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Enig) at number five fell 6-1, 2-6, 6-1.
