COMPLETE RESULTS
BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team closed out the regular season with a 6-3 win over Wilkes University on Sunday afternoon at the Burt Reese Tennis Center in a non-conference matchup. Before the match the Huskies honored its three seniors Nenyi Michah,
Gilberto Machado (Puerto de la Cruz, Cananary Islands/International British Yeoward School) and
Scott Langenbach (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford).

The match began with singles play and the Huskies came away with four wins to grab a 4-2 lead heading to doubles.
Dhir Gala (Mumbai, India/Mithibaii) at number two won, 6-4, 7-5; while
Gerard Puig (Sabadell, Spain/Juame Viladoms) won 7-5, 6-4 at number three.

Machado dominated his opponent at number four winning 6-2, 6-2 while Langenbach had to go three sets but pulled out a 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 win.

The Huskies nearly won the match in singles play, but
Steve Williams (Patchogue, NY/Patchogue-Medford) dropped a three-set thriller at number six falling 6-3, 2-6, 10-8.

Going to doubles play the Huskies needed to win just one of the matches to get the win. Bloomsburg's Gala and
Pablo Herrero (Puerto de la Cruz, Spain/British School Tenerife) won 8-4 at number one, while at three doubles Williams and Langenbach also posted an 8-4 win. The Huskies only blemish in doubles was an 8-5 loss at number two by Micah and Puig.

The loss is just the second of the year for the Colonels who are now 19-2, while Bloomsburg goes to 7-8. The Huskies will face Mercyhurst on Friday in the PSAC semifinals at the Burt Reese Tennis Center.
