BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University men's swimming team ran its record to 6-0 on Friday evening with a 125-72 victory over visiting Susquehanna University at the Nelson Field House Pool.

Eric Usbeck (Lake Ariel, Pa./Wallenpaupack) was part of the 400-yard medley relay winning team.
Bloomsburg also had 18 PSAC qualifying times, including one from sophomore
Matthew Schulz (Norristown, Pa./Methacton) who qualified in the 200-yard individual medley. It was his first PSAC mark of the season.
The Huskies started the evening with a victory in the 400-yard medley relay from the team of Paisley, Usbeck, Dix, and Wyant as they posted a time of 3:30.96. Then, Bloomsburg rattled off eight consecutive wins in the individual events.
Winchester started with a victory in the 1000-yard freestyle, posting a time of 10:24.85. McCullough followed with a win in the 200-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 1:47.97. Freshman
Colin Bauer (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) (1:50.63) and freshman
Sean Finias (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) (1:50.71) finished second and third.
Dix won the 50-yard freestyle by more than a second over Brady, who finished second. Dix touched in 20.89 while Brady posted a solid time of 21.92. Boehme was fourth in the event with a mark of 22.38.
Rocchi followed with a victory in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:00.14. Paisley earned his second win of the night with a time of 52.10 in the 100-yard butterfly. Junior
Josh Grzech (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) was second with a mark of 53.04 while McCullough came in third, posting a time of 55.21.
Next, Wyant (47.86), Bauer (48.15), and freshman
Devon Polak (Maple Glen, Pa./Upper Dublin) (49.24) went 1-2-3 in the 100-yard freestyle. Brady followed with a win in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 55.39 while Boehme posted his victory in the 500-yard freestyle with a mark of 4:59.72. Dix was second, finishing in 5:02.76.
Usbeck, Rocchi, and senior
Bobby Lenahan (Hatboro, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) each posted PSAC qualifying times in the 100-yard breaststroke but all three swam the race as an exhibition. The Huskies 200-yard freestyle relay teams also competed as exhibitions in the final event of the night.
The Huskies will be back in action at the Crimson Hawk Invitational, hosted by IUP, next Friday and Saturday, January 27 and 28.
