STORYLINE
The Huskies look to remain unbeaten on home turf and get their senior class one last home win on Wednesday (Oct. 25) when they host No. 4 Kutztown. Bloomsburg has clinched a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) tournament berth, and currently sits in eighth place with 26 points.
 
SENIOR NIGHT
Bloomsburg will honor its two seniors Hannah Miller (El Dorado Hills, Calif./Oak Ridge) and Rachel Yenney (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) prior to the match Wednesday night.
 
Miller has played in 62 career games at Bloomsburg, making 45 starts. She has totaled 12 career assists for 12 career points. The El Dorado Hills, Calif. native is the daughter of Franklin and Anne Miller, and is a history major.
 
Yenney has played in 65 games in her career in Maroon and Gold, starting in 58 of them. She has totaled eight career goals and nine career assists for 25 career points, including a career high four goals and five assists as a senior. The Collegeville, Pa. native is the daughter of Jon Yenney and Janice Tabbut, and is a physics major.

LAST MEETING
The Huskies and Golden Bears met in the quarterfinals of last year's PSAC tournament (Nov. 1, 2016), with Kutztown on home turf as the No. 14 team in the country. KU won the match 3-0 by scoring in the sixth, 57th and 71st minutes to end the Huskies campaign. Jessica Supp (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) and Megan Callan (Eldersburg, Md./Century) each fired two shots in the contest, while Allie Barber (Pittston Township, Pa./Pittston Area), Jessica Milligan (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) and Rachel Yenney (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) each recorded one.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Huskies defeated Pitt-Johnstown at home 4-1 on Saturday (Oct. 21). The Huskies started the scoring in the sixth minute when Hannah Miller (El Dorado Hills, Calif./Oak Ridge) found Rachel Yenney (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) who then beat her defender and the keeper for her fourth of the season. In the 10th minute it was Yenney finding Allie Barber (Pittston Township, Pa./Pittston Area) on the near post for Barber's fourth of the season. After two goals in the first 10 minutes, BU took a 2-0 lead to the half. A goal in the 61st minute from Jessica Supp (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) assisted by Lauren Hoelke (Blackwood, N.J./Highland Regional) and Natalie Holmes (Laurel, Md./Archbishop Spalding) increased BU's lead to three, before Erin Bielski (York, Pa./Century (Md.)) scored from Supp and Barber 37 seconds later. A Pitt-Johnstown goal 1:20 later broke the shutout, but the Huskies held on for the win. As a team, BU out-shot UPJ 28-4, including 14-1 in shots on goal. Bloomsburg also held a 11-2 advantage in corner kicks. Three players (Barber, Yenney and Supp) each recorded one goal and one assist apiece, while Bielski, Hoelke and Holmes each recorded helpers. Mackenzie Gebhard also registered five shots, putting four of them on frame. Alexis Rostucher (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) (2), Jamie Marsico (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) (2), Hailey Arpin (Odenton, Md./Arundel), Holly Norbury (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern Regional), Maggie McDonald (Burke, Va./West Potomac) and Olivia Sollberger also fired shots in the win. Jenna Hawkins (Hamburg, Pa./Fleetwood) (8-4-2) earned the win in 78 minutes between the pipes, before giving way to Olivia Schantz (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland) for the final 12 minutes.

Kutztown defeated Seton Hill at home on Saturday (Oct. 21) 3-1. The Golden Bears got off to a fast start, with Morgan Staley scoring her second of the year off a corner kick from Randi Smith just 1:25 in. Alyssa Ryan scored her fourth of the year off another assist from Smith in the 14th minute to make it 2-0 in favor of the Golden Bears. Emily Zwiercan collected her 12th of the season in the 25th minute to stretch KU's lead to 3-0. Seton Hill's lone goal would come in the 34th minute when Emma Bearinger set up Emma Porteous for her fourth of the season. The second half played out scoreless. Jenna Bracken made one save in the win.
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies 6-0-1 at the friendly confines of Steph Pettit Stadium, and also fourth in the league in scoring (36 goals) and second in the league in scoring average (2.40). Barber and Yenney are tied for the team lead in points with 13, with both recording four goals and five assists on the season. Mackenzie Gebhardt (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) also has recorded double-digit points this season with 11, doing so on five goals and one assist. 13 other Huskies have recorded points on the season, including Holmes whose six helpers are tied for second in the league. Between the pipes, Hawkins (8-4-2) owns a 1.15 goals-against-average as well as a .696 save percentage. She has made 39 total saves on the season, the eighth-highest total in the conference. Hawkins has also recorded six shutouts on the season.
 
SCOUTING KUTZTOWN
The Golden Bears come into the matchup ranked No. 4 in the nation and ranked second in the Atlantic Region. They lead the conference in scoring (47), scoring average (2.94) and are also tied for first in fewest goals allowed with nine. Zwiercan is second in the league with 30 points (12 G, 6 A) while Maddie Mohr is fifth in the league with 20 points (10 G). Smith is tied for eighth in the PSAC with 16 points on five goals and six assists. Zwiercan's 12 goals and Smith's six assists are both tied for second in the league. Ku has two other double-digit scorers in Ryan (11 points, 4 G, 3 A) and Kate Martin (10 points, 4 G, 2 A). 13 other players have contributed points on the season. In net, Bracken is third in the league with a .648 GAA, and second in the league with an .873 save percentage. She is seventh in the league with 48 total saves, and also has recorded four shutouts.

The Huskies conclude the regular season with a trip to Edinboro on Saturday (Oct. 28). Kickoff is slated for 1:00 p.m.
