KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Bloomsburg women's soccer program earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. The honor is given annually to schools for outstanding academic achievement in the classroom.

A total of 801 soccer teams (338 men, 463 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 187 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.

Bloomsburg finished the year with a team GPA of 3.59. It is the 12th overall time receiving the recognition in program history and the 10th consecutive honor under head coach Matt Haney.

The Huskies ended the year 10-7-2, going 7-5-2 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play. Bloomsburg earned an at large bid to the NCAA Tournament following the regular season.

The Huskies open the 2026 season at home as they take on PSAC East rival West Chester. The match is slated for 3:00 p.m. from Steph Pettit Stadium.
