CARLISLE, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University women's swimming team will travel to Dickinson College on Saturday afternoon, November 18, to battle the Red Devils in a dual meet. Start time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies are 2-2 in dual meets this season and enter with wins in each of their last two duals. Last Friday, Bloomsburg posted a 133-70 victory over visiting Clarion University at the Nelson Field House Pool. Bloomsburg posted a total of 27 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) marks during the dual.
Redshirt senior
Nikki Young (Eagleville, Pa./Methacton) totaled three victories on the night - two of which were individual wins - to pace Bloomsburg. Sophomore
Becca Cubbler (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) also posted a pair of individual victories to lift the Huskies to their second consecutive win. Redshirt junior
Marykate Boylan (Edgemont, Pa./Penncrest) finished with a relay win and an individual win to join Young and Cubbler as multiple-event winners on the night. The highlight of the night was Young's continued dominance in the 100-yard breaststroke as she won the event by nearly five seconds. Her time of 1:03.37 is her fastest time of the season, the second-fastest in school history - trailing only her own record of 1:02.32 she established during the 2015-16 season, and moved her up to second in the country in the event.
Bloomsburg started with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay, posting a time of 1:47.93. The team consisted of sophomore

Kate Cossitor (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley), and Boylan. Cubbler won the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:37.76. Cubbler's time is the second-fastest mark in the PSAC this season. Freshman
Kelley McHugh (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) followed with a victory in the 200-yard freestyle, posting a mark of 1:58.61.
Boylan won her second event of the night, touching the wall in 25.01 to claim a win in the 50-yard freestyle. Young then dominated the 200-yard individual medley, winning with a time of 2:11.10 - the fourth-best time in the conference to date. Middleton followed with a win in the 100-yard butterfly, posting the sixth-best time in the PSAC at 59.53. She was the only swimmer on Friday to finish the race in under a minute.
In the 100-yard freestyle, Cubbler won her second event with a time of 54.81 and then Hursey claimed a win in the 500-yard freestyle as she touched the wall in 5:13.73 - less than a second faster than McHugh.
SCOUTING DICKINSON
The Red Devils enter with a 3-2 overall record but are coming off of a 120-85 loss to Scranton last Saturday.
Against Scranton, sophomore Molly Sternick led the Red Devils by earning three wins on the day. She was part of the winning medley relay and added wins in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events with times of 25.58 and 55.96.
Sophomore Demetria Ruhl and freshman Madison Littlepage went one-two in the 1000-yard freestyle with times of 11:17.43 and 11:28.91, respectively. Ruhl added another win in the 200-yard butterfly, clocking a time of 2:18.69. Senior Samantha Holden anchored the medley relay, placed second with the free relay, and was third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 57.26. Freshman Hannah Griffith and Devon Korhammer rounded out the medley relay while Griffith also captured silver in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:36.36.
UP NEXT
The Huskies will travel to Akron, Ohio to compete in the three-day Zippy Invitational, hosted by the University of Akron, from Friday, December 1 through Sunday, December 3.
