RICHMOND, Va. - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is proud to announce its Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams and individual swimmers and divers as presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps, recognizing 714 teams from 418 institutions for their outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester. Additionally, over 2,230 student-athletes were named individual Scholar All-Americans as well. Collectively, these teams represent 16,680 student-athletes from across all collegiate divisions.
Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2026 grade point averages and were required to achieve a team GPA of 3.00 or higher to earn Scholar All-America recognition.
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met an NIC "A" time standard in Division I or an NCAA "B" qualifying standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet for Division II, Division III, and NAIA.
Student-athletes recognized on the 2026 CSCAA Individual Scholar All-America Team represented a wide range of academic disciplines, with STEM and health science majors accounting for the largest share of honorees, followed closely by business-related fields.
The Bloomsburg women's swimming team, under the guidance of third-year head coach Bridget Flick '13/22M and assistant coach Eric Usbeck '17 boasted a team GPA of 3.65 this past spring.Â
Individually, Morgan Holmes (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway), Grace McBlain (Aldan, Pa./Monsignor Bonner), and Rachel Cunningham (Hanover, Pa./South Western) all earned Second Team Scholar All-America honors. It is the second honor for Cunningham and Holmes and first for McBlain.
"This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment these student-athletes make to excellence both in the classroom and in competition," said CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany. "The 714 teams honored this spring represent the very best of collegiate swimming and diving, demonstrating that academic success and athletic achievement go hand in hand. We congratulate every student-athlete, coach, and institution recognized."
