SPRING BREAK PREVIEW: Men's Tennis Heads to Florida for Five Matches

Orlando, Fla. – The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team heads to Florida for five matches over spring break, beginning on March 13.
 
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies are 0-1 entering their 2017 spring break trip. Bloomsburg lost a hard-fought match at Philadelphia, 5-4, back on Feb. 18.
 
SCOUTING ST. THOMAS AQUINAS
The Spartans come into the matchup with a record of 2-1, with wins of Kutztown and Rider in the fall. This will be the first matches of the spring for St. Thomas Aquinas, and it will battle Philadelphia before taking on Bloomsburg.
 
SCOUTING QUEENS COLLEGE
Queens College boats a record of 2-0 entering the matchup, and have tallied wins over St. Peter's and Adelphi this season. The Knights' record will change however, as they play matches against Grand Valley State, Fla. Southern, Rollins and Lynn, before taking on the Huskies on March 13.
 
SCOUTING OKLAHOMA BAPTIST
The Bison enter the contest with a record of 6-3 on the season, and have won six of their last seven matches. Oklahoma Baptist recently defeated John Brown and Arkansas Fort Smith by scores of 9-0, and will take on Amherst before facing the Huskies on March 14.
 
SCOUTING WASHINGTON COLLEGE
The Shoremen are coming off of a 9-0 win over St. Mary's College of Maryland last Saturday, and are 2-0 on the season. Washington College also defeated Catholic, 9-0, back on Feb. 19. The Shoremen will take on Berry College on Sunday, before facing the Huskies on Wednesday, March 15.
 
SCOUTING ITHACA
The Bombers come in with a record of 1-1 on the season, and also competed at the Bloomsburg Invitational in the fall. Ithaca rebounded from an 8-1 loss to Rochester, and defeated St. Lawrence, 8-1, on Feb. 25.
