STORYLINE

Bloomsburg is riding a three-game conference win streak and also looking for program win No. 300 as they take on Gannon on the road Saturday (Sept. 16).

ALL-TIME SERIES

Bloomsburg is 8-6-1 all-time against Gannon.

 LAST TIME OUT

The Huskies defeated Lock Haven on the road on Wednesday (Sept. 13) 1-0 to win their third straight PSAC match. The lone goal was scored by Megan Callan (Eldersburg, Md./Century) in the 71st minute off assists from Natalie Holmes (Laurel, Md./Archbishop Spalding) and Christina Podpora (Elysburg, Pa./Southern Columbia). Jenna Hawkins (Hamburg, Pa./Fleetwood) made four saves in her second shutout of the season.

The Golden Knights are coming off a 3-0 win at Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday (Sept. 13). Taylor Lewis, Sarah Kaiser and Megan McCartney all scored in the win.

LAST MEETING

The two teams met in Bloomsburg back on September 9, 2016 with the Huskies defending home turf for a 2-0 win. Taylor Zucco (Glenwood, Md./Glenelg) scored on a penalty kick in the match, opening the scoring in the 55th minute.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG

As a team, the Huskies lead the league in scoring with 16 goals and scoring average with a mark of 3.2 goals per game. Rachel Yenney (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) is third in the league with 10 points on three goals (T-4th) and four assists, which leads the conference. Mackenzie Gebhardt (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) is tied with Yenney in the goal column with three. Holmes is also tied for second in the league in helpers with three. Hawkins has recorded two shutouts and owns a 1.04 goals-against-average on the year.

SCOUTING GANNON

Lewis is tied for the team lead in goals with two, has one assist and is also the team leader in points with five. Her point total is eighth in the league.

 UP NEXT

The Huskies return home to battle Mercyhurst on Friday (Sept. 22). Kickoff is slated for 1:00 p.m. at Bloomsburg's Steph Pettit Stadium.
