STORYLINE
In a battle of teams heading in opposite directions, the Bloomsburg University women's soccer team travels to Shippensburg on Wednesday night to battle the Raiders. The Huskies, ranked sixth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Regional poll, are unbeaten in their last three matches (2-0-1) while the Raiders have dropped each of their last three contests.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series against Shippensburg, 20-9-2. Last season, the Huskies pulled off an epic comeback as they scored three goals in the final 11 minutes of regulation to erase a 3-1 deficit and earn a 4-3 victory over the Raiders at Steph Pettit Stadium. Trailing 3-1 in the 79th minute, Bloomsburg got goals from Lauren Hoelke (Blackwood, N.J./Highland Regional), Holly Norbury (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern Regional), and Hailey Arpin (Odenton, Md./Arundel) to pull off the stunning rally. Jessica Supp (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) and Hannah Miller (El Dorado Hills, Calif./Oak Ridge) each had two assists in the win.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Bloomsburg, ranked sixth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Regional poll, won its only match last week as it posted a 4-0 victory at Clarion on Saturday afternoon. The Huskies got four second-half goals from senior Allie Barber (Pittston Township, Pa./Pittston Area) and sophomores Mackenzie Gebhardt (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen), Lauren Hoelke (Blackwood, N.J./Highland Regional), and Sam Rodkey (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove), and did not allow a shot attempt all afternoon to the Golden Eagles. The Huskies have used an extremely balanced scoring attack en route to their 6-2-1 overall record and identical 6-2-1 mark in league play. Ten different players have combined to score the team's 14 goals this season with Barber leading the way with three. Senior Taylor Sneidman (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) and sophomore Alex Burrows (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) have each scored a pair of goals on the year. A total of 15 players have registered at least one point on the year led by Barber's seven (three goals, one assist). Sneidman (two goals, one assist) and Hoelke (one goal, three assists) have five points apiece. Hoelke's three helpers are a team-high while Sneidman and Barber lead the team with two game-winning goals apiece which puts them in a tie for seventh in the conference. In goal, redshirt sophomore Jenna Hawkins (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood) is 6-2-1 with a 0.44 goals against average and an .826 save percentage. She leads the PSAC with six shutouts, ranks fourth in goals against average, and is eighth in save percentage. Hawkins has not been scored upon in the last 306:46 of action. Meanwhile, sophomore Olivia Schantz (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland) saw her first action of the season on Saturday, playing just over 11 minutes in relief of Hawkins.

SCOUTING SHIPPENSBURG
The Raiders enter Wednesday's contest with a 5-4 overall record and an even 4-4 mark in conference play. They are looking to snap their three-game losing streak after losing to Lock Haven, East Stroudsburg, and Seton Hill. On offense, the Raiders have been outshot, 150-117, by their opponents, but have outscored them 14-10 on the season. The team's last victory came against Gannon on September 21, when they scored three unanswered goals to come back and win 3-2. Izzy Weigel leads the team in scoring with nine points on four goals and an assist. Taylor Moore and K.K. O'Donnell follow her with seven points, with three goals and an assist, and two goals and three assists, respectively. Beth McGee has also contributed with three assists and a goal on the season. In net, Delaney Shifflett has played every minute and has recorded three shutouts, a 1.10 goals against average, and an .877 save percentage which ranks her fourth in the conference.
