ORLANDO, Fla. – The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team fell in the second match of their Spring Break trip Monday night (Mar. 12) to St. Thomas Aquinas 8-1.
Lucas Pedrotti (Caxias do Sul, Brazil/Sao Jose) and
Nagid Walle (Nassau, Bahamas/Saint Andrews (Fla.)) earned the only win for the Huskies at No. 1 doubles, defeating Jakob Ljungberg and Jose Robles by a score of 8-2. St. Thomas Aquinas won the next two doubles matches and all six singles matches.
The Spartans move to 6-3 on the season, while the Huskies fall to 0-3.
Bloomsburg is back in action tomorrow (Tuesday, Mar. 13) when they take on Dallas Baptist at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus for a 12:00 noon start.
