BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University women's outdoor track and field team had 11 individual conference marks on Saturday as the Huskies concluded the regular season by hosting the annual Maroon and Gold Invitational. Redshirt sophomore
Samantha Strype (Copiague, N.Y./Massapequa) was the Huskies' only new qualifier for the conference meet next week.
Strype posted a time of 2:21.39 in the 800-meter run to finish seventh overall in the event. The time was also a new personal best and puts her in 19th-place in the PSAC entering the conference championships. Sophomore
Madison Mimnaugh (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Pittston Area) and freshman
Autumn Avery (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) also posted personal-best times in the 800-meter run as they both got under the conference standard. Mimnaugh finished second overall with a time of 2:17.77 while Avery was sixth with a time of 2:20.97.
Senior
Carli Dedics (Drums, Pa./Hazleton Area) ran a personal-best time of 25.60 in the 200-meter dash to finish second overall in the event. She trailed only Brianna Randolph of Roberts Wesleyan who finished with a time of 25.51. Senior
Hannah Boudreau (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) won the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:48.19 on Saturday and she will enter the conference championships next week with the tenth-fastest time in the conference at 4:47.45 she posted at Johns Hopkins earlier this month.
Also posting an individual win on the track was freshman
Autumn Kaminski (Mountain Top, Pa./Holy Redeemer) who ran a 15.79 in the 100-meter hurdles - qualifying for the conference meet by one one-hundredth of a second.
Bloomsburg's 4x400-meter relay team also posted a victory on Saturday with a time of 4:05.69. The team consisted of freshman
Jessica Brenfleck (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn), freshman
Kathleen Stevenson (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn), senior
Sarah Gottschalk (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township), and Dedics.
In the field events, Stevenson posted a personal-best mark in the long jump with a leap of 5.66 meters to finish third on Saturday. She has the ninth-best mark in the conference this season.
Seniors
Amanda Simone (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan),
Hannah Masenheimer (New Tripoli, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh), and
Rachael Sullivan (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) were the other Huskies qualifiers in the field events on Saturday. Simone finished second in the high jump after clearing a height of 1.60 meters. She will enter the conference meet with the third-best mark to date at 1.63 meters she established at West Chester to open the outdoor season. Masenheimer, meanwhile, finished fifth in the hammer throw with a mark of 42.67 meters.
Sullivan hit conference marks in two events on Saturday. She took fifth in the discus with a throw of 37.88 meters and then took third in the hammer throw with a distance of 43.54 meters.
At the conclusion of the meet, the Huskies recognized seven seniors who were competing in their final home meet -

Bloomsburg will head to Slippery Rock University to compete at the PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships from May 3-5, 2018 at the William Lennox Track at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.
