BALTIMORE, Md. - The Bloomsburg University women's outdoor track and field team collected eight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifiers on Friday as the Huskies finished in fourth place out of 15 schools competing at the Johns Hopkins Invitational.
The Huskies finished with a total of 76 points, trailing only Johns Hopkins (197), Towson (121), and Loyola (Md.) (97) in the overall team standings.
Senior
Rachael Sullivan (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) had a sensational day in the field events as she posted the only Huskies' victory with a mark of 44.12 meters in the hammer throw. It shattered her throw of 41.43 meters she finished last week at West Chester in the outdoor season opener. She also took third in the discus with a distance of 38.30 meters which also blasted her throw of 36.21 meters she posted last week. Sullivan was Bloomsburg's only two-time PSAC qualifier on the afternoon.
Three others - senior

Amanda Aulenbach (Fleetwood, Pa./Oley Valley), and freshman
Kathleen Stevenson (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) - also qualified for the conference meet in the field events. Simone finished second overall in the high jump with a mark of 1.60 meters, trailing only Coppin State's Naja McAdam who cleared a height of 1.65 meters. Stevenson placed fourth in the long jump after posting a mark of 5.45 meters. She finished behind a trio of Division I athletes - two from Coppin State and one from Johns Hopkins. Aulenbach scored the first-place total of 10 points in the javelin with a throw of 38.57 but finished second overall to Christine Bohan who was competing as an unattached and did not factor in the team scoring.
On the track, senior
