STORYLINE
Bloomsburg enters the contest tied for first in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference standings and will look to keep pace when it entertains Lock Haven at Steph Pettit Stadium. The Bald Eagles are in a seven-way tie for fifth in the bunched up conference standings through the first two weeks of the season.

ALL-TIME SERIES
This will be the 25th meeting between the two schools and the first 24 matchups have been split down the middle, 10-10-4. Last season, the Huskies evened the series with a 1-0 victory at Lock Haven on September 13.
Megan Callan (Sykesville, Md./Century) scored the lone goal of the season in the 70th minute off of assists from
Natalie Holmes (Laurel, Md./Archbishop Spalding) and
Christina Podpora (Elysburg, Pa./Southern Columbia).
Jenna Hawkins (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood) stopped four shots for the shutout while Bree Hilty turned aside five Bloomsburg shots in a losing effort.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies, ranked sixth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Regional poll, are off to a 3-1 start overall with an identical 3-1 mark in the PSAC standings which has them in a three-way tie for first place through two weeks of the season. Bloomsburg started the year with back-to-back 2-0 shutout victories over Mansfield and IUP before suffering its first loss of the season, 2-1, at Millersville last Wednesday. Allie Barber (Pittston Township, Pa./Pittston Area) scored the lone Bloomsburg goal in the loss at Millersville - her first of the season and 14th of her career. Senior
Taylor Sneidman (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) and sophomore
Alex Burrows (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) scored second-half goals for the Huskies in the 2-0 win at California on Saturday. It was Sneidman's second goal of the season - both of which have been game-winners. Meanwhile, it was Burrows' first collegiate goal. Sneidman leads the Huskies in scoring with two goals and one assist for five points. Sophomore
Natalie Holmes (Laurel, Md./Archbishop Spalding) is second with a goal and an assist for three points. Barber, Burrows, sophomore
Maggie McDonald (Burke, Va./West Potomac), and freshman
Rachel Clouser (Grantville, Pa./Lower Dauphin) have each scored goals while senior
Erin Bielski (York, Pa./Century (Md.)), junior
Alexis Rostucher (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg), and sophomore
Lauren Hoelke (Blackwood, N.J./Highland Regional) have assists. Redshirt sophomore
Jenna Hawkins (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood) has played every minute in goal and is 3-1 with a 0.50 goals against average and a .714 save percentage. She is tied for first in the league in shutouts and tied for fourth in goals against average.

SCOUTING LOCK HAVEN
Lock Haven is in a seven-way tie for fifth in the PSAC standings as it comes in with a 2-1 overall record and a 2-1 mark in league play. The Bald Eagles have posted 3-1 victories at Clarion on September 1 and against Edinboro on September 8 sandwiched around a 2-0 loss against Kutztown last Wednesday. In its most recent contest, Marah Foltz, Josie Swartz, and Haleigh Swam all scored in a 3-1 victory over Edinboro this past Saturday. Foltz' goal came just 13 seconds into the contest while Swartz and Swam scored in the second half to snap a 1-1 tie. Bree Hilty stopped five shots in the victory. Foltz leads the team with three goals and one assist for seven points while Swam is second with two goals for four points. Swartz has the only other goal while Haley Predix has a single assist on the season. Hilty is 2-1 with a 1.33 goals against average and a .714 save percentage.
UP NEXT
Bloomsburg will return home on Saturday, September 15 when it hosts Gannon University in a PSAC matchup at Steph Pettit Stadium. Start time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and it will be Bloomsburg Trappers Soccer Club Day.
