COMPLETE RESULTS
BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University women's swimming team posted 11 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifiers and had nine different swimmers earn at least one victory on Saturday morning as the Huskies rolled past visiting Susquehanna University, 189-72, at the Nelson Field House Pool on Homecoming Weekend. Bloomsburg improved to 1-2 on the season while it was the first dual of the season for the River Hawks.
Sophomore
Carlie Owens (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) and freshman
Courtney Hubric (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin) each posted four victories on the day - three individual and one relay - while senior
Kiera Wadsworth (Blakeslee, Pa./Ridley) added a pair of individual wins and a relay victory. Senior
Becca Cubbler (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford), sophomore
Liz Jackson (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley), and freshman
Jenna Park (Mount Joy, PA/Donegal) chipped in with single individual victories. The Huskies won both relay events - the 200-yard freestyle relay and the 200-yard medley relay - which opened and closed the dual. The freestyle relay team consisted of senior

Sarah Campion (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville), Jackson, and junior
Lindsay Mooney (Salisbury, Md./Parkside) while the medley relay team was comprised of Wadsworth, Owens, Mooney, and Hubric.
Owens collected victories in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.26), the 100-yard individual medley (1:01.98), and the 50-yard breaststroke (31.68) while Hubric picked up her wins in the 50-yard butterfly (26.82), the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.27), and the 100-yard freestyle (54.49). Wadsworth touched the wall first in the 50-yard backstroke (28.35) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.40). Meanwhile, Cubbler posted a time of 5:18.54 to win the 500-yard freestyle and Jackson got under two minutes in the 200-yard freestyle after touching the wall in 1:59.79. Park claimed her win in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.48.
Owens' time in the 100-yard individual medley is the third-fastest in program history while Park's mark of 1:03.08 in the same event is sixth-best in the school's record books. Park finished second to Owens in the event.
Cubbler, Jackson, and Hubric led the Huskies by qualifying for the conference meet in a pair of events while Owens, Park, Wadsworth, junior
Kelley McHugh (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower), and freshman
Alicia Lehman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks) each qualified in one event on Saturday.
The Huskies will return home next weekend as they will entertain Edinboro University on Friday, November 1, at 6:00 p.m. followed by a meet against Gannon University on Saturday, November 2, at 2:00 p.m.
