EDINBORO, Pa. - The 4x800-meter relay team captured the title on Saturday to highlight the Bloomsburg University women's track and field team's results at the 2019 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Championships. The meet was condensed into one day due to impending weather concerns expected to hit the region on Sunday.

The Huskies totaled 31 points on the afternoon with Kutztown University winning the title with 100.5 team points.

Bloomsburg's 4x800-meter relay team, which included senior Kirsten O'Malley (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area), sophomore Autumn Avery (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville), and freshmen Riley Snyder (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) and Kathryn Blair (Elma, N.Y./Iroquois) picked up the conference title with a time of 9:27.84. O'Malley added three more podiums while Blair added two more on a stellar afternoon for both. Blair took second place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:18.82 and also joined the 4x400-meter relay team that finished seventh with a time of 4:07.92.

O'Malley, meanwhile, was also a part of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished seventh. She then took eighth in the long jump (5.34 meters) and third in the triple jump (11.62 meters).

Joining O'Malley and Blair on the 4x400-meter relay team were sophomores Jessica Brenfleck (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) and Natalia Konitzer (Orangeville, Pa./Marian Catholic).

Bloomsburg's last point-getter on Saturday was freshman Ashley Blannard (Shavertown, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) who finished fifth overall in the triple jump with a leap of 11.17 meters.
