ORLANDO, FL - Oliver Wiesemann (Jena, Germany/Colegio de La Asuncion Malaga) notched a three-set victory at #5 singles to secure a 4-3 win over Dickinson College for the Bloomsburg University men's tennis team Wednesday. With the win, the Huskies improve to 1-2 on their spring break trip to Orlando with just one match remaining.

Leading 3-2 with just two matches remaining, it was Wiesemann would lock up the victory for Bloomsburg with an impressive 6-1, 4-6, 10-6 victory at #5 over Derek Chen. Guille Carranza (Sevilla, Spain/Escolapios) was also victorious for the Huskies, downing Justin Pace 6-2, 6-1 at #2 singles. Nagid Walle (Willemstad, Curacao/Saint Andrews (Fla.)) was the third Bloomsburg player to score a singles win, defeating Bryce Perritt 6-0, 6-3 at #6.

The Huskies notched the team doubles point with wins from Lucas Pedrotti (Caxias do Sul, Brazil/Sao Jose) and Bernardo Abreu (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/Rogedo) over Chen and Pace (6-4), and a 6-4 win for Robin Luetzig (Hadamar, Germany/Furst Johann Ludwig Schule) and Walle at #3. Leonid Sorkin and Sam Coan had the lone doubles win for Dickinson, downing Wiesemann and Carranza  6-2.

Bloomsburg will look to make it two straights wins and end the Florida series on a high note tomorrow against Ithaca College. First serve with the Bombers is set for 12:00 p.m.
