EDINBORO, PA- The Bloomsburg University men's swim team traveled to their first away dual meet for the first time since 2019. The Huskies shattered the field, 143-55, for the win against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) rival Edinboro University, Friday night.

The Huskies started their meet off with a win in the 200-yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:36.36, out touching the competition by nearly 3 seconds. The winning relay consisted of Seniors
Jace Fry (Palmyra, Pa./Lower Dauphin), Nick Madey,
Collin Hummel (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg), and
Pat Agnew (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove).

Hummel continued his winning streak as he collected two first place wins to lead the Huskies. Coming off the medley relay, Hummel picked up his second win in the 50-yard Freestyle, posting a time of 21.71. In his third and final event of the evening, Hummel capped off his meet by collecting his third win of the night in the 100-yard Butterfly, finishing with a time of 52.90.

Senior
Cameron Junk (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) made a splash at his first away dual meet of the season by finishing second in the 100-yard Freestyle and posted a time of 49.21. Shortly after, Junk rallied back and captured first-place in the 100-yard Breaststroke with a winning time of 1:01.43.

Luke Scoboria (Birdsboro, Pa./Exeter) strayed away from distance as he posted a season best time in the 200-yard Freestyle of 1:47.23 to capture the win. After a hard-fought battle between the Huskies, Scoboria secured a third-place finish in the 100-yard Freestyle with a time of 49.37, narrowly out-touched by Junk. Scoboria closed out the meet as he anchored the winning 400-yard Freestyle relay.

Andy Thomas (Harleysville, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) nabbed the first-place finish in his only event of the night, 200-yard Individual Medley, touching the wall 4 seconds ahead of his competition with a time of 1:57.50.

Fry started off his meet with a personal best in the 50-yard Backstroke, posting a split of 24.04 to lead off the 200-yard Medley Relay, helping give the Huskies their first win of the meet. Fry picked up another win in the 100-yard Freestyle, a close race between Huskies, touching the wall at 48.22. He closed out his night of swimming with a time of 1:03.75 and a third-place finish in the 100-yard Breaststroke.

Freshman Anthony Goulstone continues to make his mark for the Huskies as he grabbed two second place finishes in the 200-yard Freestyle and the 100-yard Butterfly. Goulstone touched the wall at 1:48.51 for the 200 Free and 54.31 for the 100 Butterfly.

Agnew started off his meet anchoring the winning 200-yard Medley Relay with a 50 free split of 21.46. In a close 50-yard Freestyle, Agnew touched the wall at 22.10 to place him third overall just .39 behind his teammate Hummel. Agnew closed out the meet in another close race for the Huskies in the 100-yard Breaststroke as he put up a 1:02.90 and a second-place finish.

Blake Nesbitt (Wind Gap, Pa./Nazareth) collected a second-place finish in the 200-yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:01.57. Â Not far behind Nesbitt, Junior
Tucker Ball (New Cumberland, Pa./Cedar Cliff) finished fourth overall with a season-best time of 2:06.86. Ball concluded his meet with a second-place finish in the 100-yard Backstroke and a time of 55.89.

Jimmy Greek (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) had a season best time in the 1000-yard Freestyle, finishing second behind his Edinboro counterpart with a time of 10:48.97. Senior
Dan Mueser (Mount Joy, Pa./Elizabethtown) dove into distance as he collected a second-place finish in the 500-yard Freestyle with a time of 5:06.96. Finishing closely behind Mueser and making his mark as a Freshman,
Tanner Glatfelter (Dover, PA/Dover) nabbed third place touching the wall at 5:13.85.

The BU Men's swim team closed out their meet as they grabbed first and second in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay. The men's 'A' relay consisting of Goulstone, Junior
Nick Fiddler (Plymouth Meeting, PA/Plymouth Whitemarsh), Senior
Logan Baker (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) and Scoboria dominated the field with a time of 3:13.92. Touching the wall at 3:16.68 for second place was the Huskies 'B' 400 Free Relay consisting of Nesbitt, Junior
Brian Harrell (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan), Senior Matthew Marvin, and Mueser.

The Huskies weekend of competition continues as they are back on the road Saturday for a 1:00 pm meet against Division 1 Penn State University at the McCoy Natatorium.
