LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University men's cross country team was led by senior
Hunter Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) at the 2020-21 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Cross Country Championship, Saturday afternoon. Jarratt placed 38
th as the Huskies finished 10
th out of 12 teams.

Jarratt has led the Huskies in back-to-back races this spring as he finished 38
th overall with a time of 16:26.0, a personal-best time in a 5K race. Not far off from Jarratt was junior
Kevin Konyar (Winchester, Va./James Wood) as he came in 44
th overall with a personal-best time of his own, 16:33:3. Freshman

Competing in their first championship races, freshmen
Michael Gavio (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) and
Ryan Duff (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) both scored for the Huskies. Gavio finished 54
th overall and was the third Husky across the finish line with a time of 16:44.1 while Duff came in 61
st overall with a time of 16:49.1.

Senior
Chris McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) was the fifth Bloomsburg runner to cross the finish line as he captured 63
rd overall with a personal-best time of 16:55.3.
A trio of freshmen were next across the line for Bloomsburg as
Matthew Campbell (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) finished 89
th with a time of 17:40.0,
Brayden Graham (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) took 90
th with a time of 17:40.6, and
Parker Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) came in 95
th with a time of 17:45.9.

Sophomore
Justin Ziegler (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton Area) took 104
th overall with a personal-best time of 18:19.8 and freshman
Gabriel McKittrick (Freeland, Pa./Hazleton Area) rounded out the Husky finishers as he took 111
th overall with a time of 19:08.8.

The PSAC championship meet marks the end of the abbreviated 2020-21 cross country season for Bloomsburg and the distance runners will now turn their attention to the 2021 outdoor track and field season.
