THE STORY
The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team heads to Edinboro University on Tuesday, April 27 for the first round of the 2021 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament. The Huskies earned the No. 3 seed in this year's tournament after finishing the year 4-2 in conference play. Edinboro received the No. 2 seed after finishing 5-1 in the PSAC. The semifinal match is set to begin at 3:00 pm in Edinboro, Pa.
BLOOMSBURG VS. EDINBORO HISTORY
The Huskies hold a 12-10 all-time advantage over Edinboro but the Fighting Scots have won eight of the last 10 meetings between the two teams. Earlier this season, Edinboro defeated Bloomsburg 5-2 in the Huskies' season opener. Seniors
Nagid Walle (Willemstad, Curacao/Saint Andrew's (Fla.)) and
Robin Luetzig (Hadamar, Germany/Furst Johann Ludwig Schule) won at No. 1 doubles and sophomore
Scott Redmond (Paget, Bermuda/Warwick Academy) and senior
Guille Carranza (Sevilla, Spain/Colegio Calasancio Hispalense) won at No. 3 doubles to claim the doubles point while sophomore
Victor Martinez (Barcelona, Spain/Padre Damian Sagrados Corazones) won at No. 6 singles for the final Husky point of the match.

Victor Martinez (Barcelona, Spain/Padre Damian Sagrados Corazones) leads the Huskies with a 6-1 record this season while playing at four different positions. Martinez is 2-0 at No. 5 and No. 6 singles while posting a 1-1 record at No. 4 and a 1-0 record at No. 3 singles.
• Sophomore
Scott Redmond (Paget, Bermuda/Warwick Academy) and senior
Robin Luetzig (Hadamar, Germany/Furst Johann Ludwig Schule) are both 4-1 on the year. Luetzig is 3-1 at No. 4 singles and1-0 at No. 3 while Redmond is 1-0 at No. 4 and No. 6 and 2-1 at No. 5 singles.
• Senior Guille Garranza and Redmond are a perfect 5-0 in doubles matches together, including 4-0 at No. 3 doubles and 1-0 at No. 2 doubles. Luetzig and senior

SCOUTING EDINBORO
• Leading the way for the Fighting Scots is Gustavo Martins with a perfect 11-0 record in singles on the season. Martins has split time between No. 4 and No. 5 singles. He is 9-0 at No. 4 and 2-0 at No. 5.
• Kaio Sacchi and Thibault Dorval are both 10-2 on the year. Dorval is 9-2 at No. 3 singles and 1-0 at No. 4 while Sacchi is 9-0 at No. 5 and 1-1 at No. 4.
• Thibault Dorval and Gustavo Martins are 8-1 on the year in doubles matches together, including an 8-1 record at No. 2 doubles. Jorge Benette and Kaio Sacchi are 4-0 on the year together in doubles, including a 4-0 record at No. 3 doubles.
LOOKING AHEAD
The winner of the semifinals match will take on the winner of the No. 1 Mercyhurst and No. 4 Millersville match up for the conference championship. The championship match is set for May 1 at the highest remaining seed.
