LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University women's and men's track and field teams continue to impress during the indoor season as the Huskies posted seven new Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Championship qualifying times at the Gulden Invitational, hosted by Bucknell University.

On the women's side, junior
Kathryn Blair (Elma, N.Y./Iroquois) earned a spot in the PSAC Championships after finishing third in the 1-mile race with a 5:10.75. Freshman
Kelley Selheimer (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) posted a career-best time in the race as she took seventh at 5:19.33 to qualify for the PSAC championship meet as well.

Delaney Porter () took eighth in the 400-meter run with 1:00.48 to improve on her PSAC qualifying time, and sophomore
Sarah Castronova (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) took 11
th with a time of 1:01.00. Freshman Jaime Diedel posted a season-best time of 11:09.82 in the 3,000-meter run.

The 4x400-meter relay team of Porter,
Phoebe Patterson (), Castronova, and Regi Wednt posted a season-best time for the Huskies as they took seventh at 4:12.09, the fifth-best time in the PSAC so far this season (converted to 4:08.79 for track size).

Riley Snyder (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy), and
Nicole Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) took third in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 10:09.98.

Ashley Blannard (Larksville, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) had another impressive day in the jumps as she won the triple jump with an indoor-career best of 11.52 meters, improving on her PSAC qualifying mark. She is currently ranked first in the event in the conference. Blannard took second in the long jump as she hit 5.55 meters, just 0.01 off her season-high mark in the event. She is currently ranked second in the PSAC with a top jump of 5.56 meters.

On the men's side, senior Christopher McCormick took second overall in the 800-meter run with 2:00.25 to qualify for the PSAC championship (time converted to 1:58.56 due to track size). His mark is currently the sixth-best in the conference.

Freshman
Michael Gavio (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) finished ninth overall in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:04.49, which is converted to 8:58.23 for a PSAC qualifying time and the seventh-best mark in the conference.
Parker Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) also earned a spot in the PSAC Championships with a 10
th-place finish in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:30.08, converted to 4:26.68 for the ninth-best time in the conference.

Junior
Kevin Konyar (Winchester, Va./James Wood) finished fourth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:17.61 to earn a spot in the PSAC Championships. His time converted to 15:07.89 due to the track being the second-best time in the conference this year.

Freshman
Shaheem Hill () finished seventh in the high jump to qualify for the PSAC championship meet with a height of 1.85 meters. That mark is currently the 14
th-best in the PSAC.

Next weekend, the Huskies head back to Bucknell to compete in the Bison Open and Multi on January 28 and 29.
