EDINBORO, Pa. – Senior
Tyler Bailey (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) broke his school record as he took third in the 800-meter run and helped the Bloomsburg University men's track & field team to a ninth-place finish in the 2022 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships, Sunday afternoon.

Bailey finished third overall in a fast 800-meter race with a school-record time of 1:54.60. He finished third in his heat as well behind the eventual winner and runner-up in the event.

In the 60-meter hurdles, senior
Hank Anderson (Oakland, N.J./Indian Hills) grabbed second in with a time of 8.26, while the 4x400-meter relay team of Bailey,
Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area),
Brady Dowell (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township), and
Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) finished fourth overall with a time of 3:25.03.

Freshman
Brayden Graham (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) finished sixth overall in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:25.13.
Parker Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) took 15
th overall with a time of 4:31.48, while
Chris McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) finished 17
th at 4:41.97. McCormick also took 15
th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:01.80.

Freshman
Michael Gavio (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) took 11
th overall in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:58.35, while Jarratt took 22
nd with a time of 9:26.17.

The Huskies finished ninth overall with 27 team points between the two days of competition. Shippensburg won the team title with 210 points while Slippery Rock scored 90 points for second place.

Bloomsburg now turns its attention to the outdoor season. The Huskies are set to open the season at the JT Invite, hosted by Susquehanna University, on March 26.
