SELINGSGROVE, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University men's track and field team opened the 2022 outdoor season in impressive fashion at the Jim Taylor Invitational on Saturday. The Huskies collected four Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) automatic qualifying marks and seven top-10 finishes, including taking first in one event.

The Huskies placed two in the top-10 of the 800-meter finals as
Tyler Bailey (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) took second overall with a PSAC mark of 1:56.49.
Parker Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) took ninth overall with a time of 1:59.72.

Ryan Duff (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) finished fourth in the 10,000-meter run with a PSAC time and personal-best of 33:05.61 while
Michael Gavio (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) just missed the top-10 but finished 11
th with a PSAC mark of 33:57.52.

Hank Anderson (Oakland, N.J./Indian Hills) earned a spot in the 110-meter hurdles with a sixth-place finish in the prelims with a PSAC time of 15.77. Anderson improved on that time in the finals and finished third overall at 15.34.

Brady Dowell (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) took seventh overall in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 58.79 while
Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) finished 10
th at 1:00.15, also a personal-best time.

The 4x400-meter relay team of
Brady Dowell (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township),
Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon),
Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area), and Bailey won their section and took first overall with a time of 3:26.32 while the 4x100-meter relay team of
Marco Olmedo (Norristown, Pa./Norristown Area),
Hank Anderson (Oakland, N.J./Indian Hills), Wilson and
Tyreem Welton (Philadelphia, Pa./Penn Wood) took ninth overall with a time of 45.21.

The Huskies get back to action next Saturday, April 2, at the Millersville Metrics at Millersville University.
