Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team split a pair of weekend matches as the Huskies fell to Salem University 4-3 on Friday night before picking up their first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) win with a 7-0 victory over West Chester.
 
The Huskies earned the doubles point against Salem on Friday as Albert Martin (Barcelona/Instituto Menendez y Pelayo) and Robin Luetzig (Hadamar, Germany/Furst Johann Ludwig Schule) won 6-3 at No. 1 doubles and Oliver Wiesemann (Jena, Germany/Deutsche Schule Málaga (Spain)) and Scott Redmond (Paget, Bermuda/Warwick Academy) picked up a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles.
 
Salem came back in the singles matches and won at No. 1 through 3 singles. Redmond earned his second win of the day with a hard-fought 6-4, 0-6, 7-6 win at No. 4 singles. Wiesemann also won his second match with a 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles. Salem won at No. 6 singles for the deciding match point.
 
The Huskies rebounded for a 7-0 win over West Chester on Saturday afternoon.
 
Bloomsburg secured the doubles point with a sweep of the doubles matches. Martin and Luetzig continue to impress at the top of the line up with a 6-2 win at the No. 1 position. Barros and Patel followed suit with a 6-2 win at No. 2 and Wiesemann and Redmond closed it out with a 6-2 win at No. 3
 
The Huskies sealed the win with a sweep of singles play as well. Luetzig won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 while Martin took the No. 2 singles match 6-2, 5-1. Barros closed out the win at No. 3 with a 6-3, 6-4 victory while Patel won handedly, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4. Redmond earned his fourth win of the weekend with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 5 and Wiesemann picked up his fourth win with a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 6.
 
The Huskies are scheduled to return home on Tuesday when they host Bucknell University for a 3:00 pm match at the Burt Reese Tennis Center.
